For purchases made on www.vandesselcycles.com:
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unridden, unworn, or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If your return is accepted, or if we are found to be at fault for shipping the incorrect item we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Returns accepted and at no fault of Van Dessel, the purchaser will be responsible for any shipping/freight fees. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues:
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items:
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
We provide a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for all Van Dessel frame/fork product/components as specified below.
If you suspect you may have a warranty claim contact an authorized Van Dessel retailer or distributor to initiate the warranty claim process. Proof of purchase is required.FIND A DEALER
Framesets ( rigid frame, rigid fork, full suspension frame), main frame, and full suspension chainstays / seatstays from defect in materials or craftmanship for the lifetime to the original owner. Subject to useful lifecycle terms and conditions noted below. Proof of original purchase invoice/receipt is required to validate the coverage period.
Subsequent owners (second or later). Van Dessel will cover our product with three-year warranty coverage from the date of original purchase for subsequent owners. This applies to Van Dessel branded frames, forks and wheels. Proof of original purchase invoice/receipt is required to validate the coverage period.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
In addition to our lifetime warranty, Van Dessel frames, forks, wheels are covered under our Crash Replacement Program. If you damage an eligible Van Dessel product while riding and it's not covered under warranty, we'll replace or repair it at a discounted price.

This warranty applies to Model year 2016 and newer complete Van Dessel bicycles or Van Dessel frameset. This warranty is void in its entirety by any modification of the frame, fork, or components. This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective item at the manufacturer’s discretion. This warranty extends from the original date of purchase. Van Dessel Cycles is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages unless prohibited by state law. Claims made outside the country of original purchase may be subject to fees and additional restrictions. Warranty duration and detail may vary by country.
IF I AM NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A WARRANTY, IS THERE A PROGRAM TO HELP ME?
Yes. The Van Dessel Crash Replacement Program may offer preferred pricing for riders that are not eligible for warranty. For further details below on terms and eligibility. contact your Van Dessel dealer or distributor to start your claim.

IMPORTANT TERMS FOR THE VAN DESSEL CRASH REPLACEMENT PROGRAM
In all cases, the program applies only to damage that happened during riding. The Van Dessel Crash Replacement Program does not apply to cosmetic damage or 3rd party components. To take advantage of this program, you must contact an Authorized Van Dessel dealer or distributor to start the process. Depending on the damage, we’ll determine in our discretion whether the product damage is applicable for the Van Dessel Crash Replacement Program. The pricing for the replacement depends on your location, the product, and how long you’ve owned it. Your Van Dessel dealer or distributor will have the details. A valid proof of purchase is required (this applies to subsequent owners, too.) We do not keep inventory forever. If your product meets the Van Dessel Crash Replacement Program criteria and needs to be replaced and we no longer have it in stock, we’ll try our best to find you the most similar product currently available.
Shipping costs are never included, and your Van Dessel dealer or distributor may charge you for labor costs and/or any costs associated with processing your claim. Your Van Dessel dealer or distributor will retain possession of the damaged product so it can be pulled out of the marketplace and properly disposed of.
Coverage period is based on the original purchase date of the original product. The time period does not start over when a product is replaced under the Van Dessel Crash Replacement Program.
We want to make sure you are completely satisfied and stand behind our products but we do reserve our right to deny coverage if we determine in our discretion that the policy is being abused.

USEFUL LIFE CYCLE
Every VAN DESSEL bicycle and frameset has a useful life cycle. This useful life cycle is not the same as the warranty period. The warranty identifies the period of time that VAN DESSEL will replace the product if this becomes necessary. When VAN DESSEL provides a warranty, this does not guarantee that the product will last forever. The length of the useful life cycle of a VAN DESSEL bicycle will vary depending on the type of bike, riding conditions and care the bike receives. Competition, jumping, downhill racing, free-riding, trick riding, trial riding, riding in severe conditions or climates, riding with heavy loads or any other non-standard use can substantially shorten the useful product life cycle of a VAN DESSEL bicycle or frame set. Any one or a combination of these conditions may result in an unpredictable failure of a VAN DESSEL bicycle or frame set that would not be covered by this warranty. All VAN DESSEL bicycles and frame sets should be periodically checked by an authorized VAN DESSEL dealer for indication of potential failures including cracks, corrosion, dents, deformation, paint peeling, and any other indications of potential problems, inappropriate use or abuse. These are important safety checks and very important in the prevention of accidents, bodily injury to the rider, and a shortened useful product life cycle of any VAN DESSEL bicycle or frameset. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
